Vital Voices Honors Daw Aung San Suu Kyi as the Voice of the Decade


This year marks Vital Voice’s 10th Annual Global Leadership Awards, and the organization founded by Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton honors extraordinary women who improve the world. These women come from remote villages and censored cities, gang raped, beaten, lives full of obstacles yet they watch out for other women in their communities and the next generation of women to come.

This Prison Where I Live- Zarganar


Zarganar, Burma’s most renowned comedian is a threat to the Burmese military regime, because Zarganar is just not a comedian, he is a social activist. His puns target the dictatorship and ignite people’s minds. Rex Bloomstein created the film, ” This Prison Where I Live” on Zarganar in an effort to show the international community about the abuse of freedom of expression in Burma and the courage of one outspoken comedian.
